dominated by his father. Mitch is driven and fiercely competitive, if pressured.

EDDON(JACK STADDON)
Professional
cyclist, talent and upandcoming rider pushing Mitch for
pole position in Team DJM.
AIDEN
MCCORDELL(BEN LAMB)
Elder brother
of Mitch, himself a professional cyclist, just not quite as
successful, more of a grafter, less under the thumb of his father as
a result.
DES
MCCORDELL(DEREK RIDDELL)
Team Owner of
DJM Racing (named after him), Mitch and Aiden's Dad, a former cyclist
himself and the man who has lobbied to bring the race to the town.
Driven and obsessive.
JOANNA
STOCKERTON(REBECCA GRANT)
Successful
young businesswoman, an internet entrepreneur who grew up in Burwood
Mantle, left, made her fortune, returned and now quietly sponsors DJM
Racing. Currently going out with Damien Lamerat. Once went out with Mitch.
DAMIEN
LAMERAT(EDWARD AKROUT)
The cycling
race's chief representative and organiser, a politician as a result.
Damien goes out with Joanna.
KIM
FOSSE(OLIVIA VINALL)
Mitch's
girlfriend, a likeable former beautician turned team masseuse,
desperate to marry Mitch despite the disapproval of his father.
AMBER
LAYARD(SOPHIA DIMARTINO)
Works for Team
DJM as mechanic looking after both the bikes and the riders. Going
out with Aiden.
GERRY
BLEACHER(RICHARD GRAHAM)
A brooding
woodsman, wood-carver and opponent of the race on account of his
concern for the habitats of local animals.
JEZ
OLIVER(JOE MCGANN)
A chef, and
widow, who works in Mary Appleton's pub and goes out with her.
MARY
APPLETON(TESSA PEAKEJONES)
Local
Councillor, pivotal to the race coming to town and landlady of the
local pub.
REECE
DEXTER(HARID HILLON)
Owns Team
Ravondale, the chief rival of DES and Team DJM.
