MIDSOMER MURDERS

DEATH IN CHORUS

Both Joyce & Bullard are enthusiastic members of the Midsomer Worthy Choir, but rehearsals for a forthcoming contest are distinctly 'off song'. The conductor is pursuing a personal feud with a rival but problems really excaberate when the lead tenor is found brutally beatened to death.

Barnaby & Jones have to uncover a web of fractured relationships & fraud among the choir members in order to unmask the murderer & prevent further deaths. Both detectives find themselves getting very wet in the process. Jones reveals hidden talents as we (literally) get to see a lot more of him than usual.!! Bullard meanwhile, contributes to saving the day musically.

'Death in Chorus' marks the 50th episode of Midsomer Murders and the cast and crew celebrated with a glass of champagne.
