MIDSOMER CONVENTION 2011
17th - 19th June
This years Convention will take place from 17th - 19th
June inclusive.
There will also be an optional extension of a trip to
Wales to visit some of the locations seen in 'Death & Dust'

ITINERARY
FRIDAY 17TH OF JUNE
Meet & Greet Lunch at base hotel.
Location visit -Bekonscot Model Village in
Beaconsfield, the world's oldest model village, which appeared in the
episode "Small Mercies".
Evening : Midsomer Quiz Evening and BBQ.
SATURDAY 18TH OF JUNE
Location visit to Nether Winchendon House, another
stunning Midsomer location, seen in several episodes.
Lunch at a pub in Great Haseley, followed by a game of
Aunt Sally in the pub garden - just like Barnaby & Troy did there!
Evening : Murder Mystery Evening at a hotel in Oxfordshire.
SUNDAY 19TH OF JUNE
After a brief visit to some locations in Henley, we
head to Caversham to catch a to take us to Mapledurham Mill,
where scenes were filmed for 'The Fisher King'. The
visit includes lunch and a light tea before taking the boat back to Caversham.
We end the day and the weekend with a farewell dinner at our base hotel.

20-22 JUNE 2011 - WALES TRIP
The coach will leave at 9 am from the base hotel on Monday, and take us to Llanberis, Snowdonia. There will be a leisurely stop on the way.
On Tuesday we will visit Mount Snowdonia in the morning, and Carnarfon Castle in the afternoon.
Before we return to the base hotel for a final farewell dinner, we'll visit Beddgelert to take a peek at Gelert's Grave and also have a drive past the white house used as Delyth's ex husband's home.
