WALLINGFORD - THE STORY OF AN ANCIENT TOWN

FROM ALFRED THE GREAT TO AGATHA CHRISTIE

If you were at the 2008 Midsomer Murders Convention you might just catch a glimpse of yourself in this DVD!

With footage from the Convention visit to the Corn Exchange in Wallingford, seen in 'Death of a Hollow Man' and Death's Shadow' and a glimpse of some Midsomer Murders filming, this fascinating documentary tells the story of Wallingford-on-Thames, one of England's most historic towns. Home to Sir William Blackstone one of the fathers of the US Constitution and Queen of Crime fiction Agatha Christie, Wallingford has been at the heart of English culture and history for over 1000 years. Today this market town has found a new claim to fame as one of the locations for Causton in 'Midsomer Murders'.
